Daemon Tools Lite เป็นโปรแกรมที่ใช้สร้าง virtual CD/DVD drive (ไดร์ CD/DVD เสมือน) ซึ่งไดร์เสมือนนี้มีประโยชน์ตรงที่เราสามารถนำไฟล์ image ของ CD/DVD ที่ต้องการมาเปิดกับไดร์เสมือนได้เลย โดยที่ไม่ต้องใช้แผ่น CD/DVD จริง สำหรับเวอร์ชั่นที่นำมาให้โหลดนี้เป็นเวอร์ชั่นฟรีครับ นอกจากจะใช้สร้างไดร์เสมือนแล้ว โปรแกรมยังสามารถสร้างไฟล์ image ได้ด้วย เพียงใส่แผ่น CD/DVD ต้นฉบับลงในไดร์จริง โปรแกรมก็จะสามารถสร้างไฟล์ image นามสกุล ISO หรือ MDS แต่เราเลือก เราสามารถเก็บไฟล์นี้ไว้เปิดกับไดร์เสมือนหรือเก็บไว้ burn เป็นแผ่นทีหลังก็ได้ครับ

2. Create a disc image
With DAEMON Tools Lite you can create ISO and MDS image files from original discs inserted in physical CD/DVD/HD DVD/Blu-ray drives. Or use images you have created earlier with other program. DAEMON Tools products work with wide spread of image types.
